Good times

I am trying to keep up with life. We have been busy and having lots of fun, but I have not done much other than the bare minimum. This pregnancy has really taken me down. The nausea which usually stops in the 2nd trimester has been just as strong, and the fatigue has not let up either. That said, I am so grateful that everything is going well. The baby wasn't growing very well at first, and seems to be doing just fine now. We found out at our last appointment that it is most likely a boy, and we are so happy. Now for the rest of life. D has been enjoying kindergarden, but he is having problems not talking all the time. (No surprise there). We'll keep working on that, but overall he is very happy. He asked me to take this picture of him and Kirby. Such a funny little guy. K was super excited to start neighborhood preschool. She wore her new green dress, and was super excited. First day of school

I have been a blog slacker, and lots has happened. Instead of a big post, I thought I would start with the most current and post more later if I get to it. D started Kindergarten on Mon. He was excited until 9 the night before, then the nerves hit. He was downstairs and was muttering, "why can't I remember, what is it?" Kent asked him what was wrong. He replied, "I can't remember what 2+1 is." We laughed and explained that he wouldn't have a math test the first day of school. Kent then said, "D what is 2+1?" he calmly answered 3. We reassured him that he will do just fine. He groggily woke up on Mon. (a huge surprise because he is usually up at 7:00, and even woke up at 6:00 today) took a shower, and got ready for school. He agreed to let me walk him to school (just for the first day, after that he can take care of it). He immediately found his "twin" friends and went right into class.
