Well, we are still getting lots of snow. We seem to be in a pattern of a big snow storm, then a few days of warm weather, then freezing cold, then more snow. These pictures are from a few days after a big storm.
D and K are standing in a snow drift at the church. It was about 8 feet tall. There was one way taller and way bigger, but at the same time I went to take the pics, a big tractor and 2 dump trucks came and took the snow away. They started taking snow away at 9:00 am, and didn't stop until 7:00 p.m.. (if that is any indication of the amount of snow)
D and K are in our driveway here. We ran out of room to put all the snow. Kent wrenched his back, so snow removal was my job. Can you see how good I did : ).
Here K is standing at the church, the path on the sidewalk gives you an idea of the depth of snow. When K stood right next to the snow it came up to her neck.
Because we have so much snow with warm and then freezing temps, there are lots of impressive icicles. This is a picture of the Tabernacle. I hope you can see all the beautiful icicles.
The kids like the snow, but get antsy in the house pretty quick. Because the weather has been so severe and sudden, we are nervous to go too far.
